The biggest difference between friction welding and traditional welding is that, during the whole welding process, the temperature of the metal to be welded does not reach its melting point when the energy is increased, that is, the metal is bonded in a solid phase in a similar forged state under the thermoplastic state.
Compared with traditional welding, friction welding has high welding joint quality - the weld strength equals to the base material, high welding efficiency, stable quality and good consistency, and can realize the welding of one kind of material.
